To support a banking-focused initiative, the remote California Licensed Databricks Architect will deliver end-to-end Databricks implementations, leveraging extensive data engineering expertise and cloud-native platform design over an 8-12 month contract. Key responsibilities Deliver 6-8+ end-to-end Databricks implementations as a hands-on developer or solution architect Design and implement scalable cloud-native data platforms across AWS, Azure, or GCP Troubleshoot complex data platform challenges and recommend architecture patterns aligned with business requirements Required qualifications 12-15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, and Data Analytics Databricks Data Engineering Professional certification or equivalent advanced certification Strong expertise in Apache Spark, including performance optimization and memory management Extensive hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Delta Lake Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices for data solutions
