Seeking a California Licensed Cost Manager, the full-time Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor will provide leadership in cost management for healthcare construction projects, ensuring client objectives are met while working remotely and managing client relationships effectively. Key responsibilities: Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle Preparing and presenting detailed cost plans and managing cost checks and valuations on larger projects Leading negotiations on contractor pricing and managing post-contract cost variances and change control processes Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in cost management within the construction industry RICS accreditation or progress towards it is preferred Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity Strong knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value engineering
