California Licensed Collections Specialist

To support timely reimbursement in infusion care, the full-time California Licensed Collections Specialist will manage insurance claims follow-up, monitor payer accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues on-site in Berkeley, CA, with potential for hybrid work after six months. Key responsibilities Follow up on submitted insurance claims to ensure correct and timely payment Investigate denials, underpayments, and unpaid balances, determining appropriate resolution paths Collaborate with internal billing, pharmacy, and operations teams to resolve claim issues efficiently Required qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of three (3) years of experience in collections related activities Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
