This is an opportunity to join a growing, well-established organization with an outstanding benefits package and strong culture.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMPay Range: $27 – $43hrEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollow established laboratory safety and operational procedures.Schedule outside contractors to perform calibrations.Conduct or organize calibration activities for mechanical, electrical, and linear equipment according to established procedures to maintain calibration status.Schedule and coordinate calibrations among various departments.Enter data into calibration management system.Perform repair and preventive maintenance on gages/equipment as needed.Prepare calibration reports and certificates.Track and maintain all equipment status.Initiate NCR for all out-of-tolerance equipment as required.Manage lost equipment status and calibration interval adjustments within calibration management system.Ensure all calibration is in accordance with approved procedures.Document all activities in a legible manner following established formats and procedures.Represent the calibration function during regulatory inspections.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting required2 years of experience with calibration of inspection equipment/hand gages required2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requiredKnowledge and SkillsGood mechanical aptitude; ability to read blueprintsGood understanding of calibration principles preferredPMEL or equivalent training preferredExperience with SAP or equivalent calibration management software preferredExperience with laser micrometers and quality control inspection equipment preferredCalibration types include: physical/dimensional, temperature, pressure, torque, and electricalAdditional NotesClean room experience is not requiredBackgrounds in aerospace, pharma, automotive, or medical device manufacturing are all relevant
