Shift Start Time is: 12:30PM to 9PM. This includes ½ hour break for lunch and two 10-minute breaks.

Pay: 30.00 to 35.00 per hour depending on experience.

This position is 5/8-hour shifts M-F and will require overtime as needed by company demands. This candidate must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Job Description:

As a Calibration Technician you will perform calibrations on new production instruments, recalibrate customer instruments, and maintain the calibrations on all measurement and test equipment (M&TE) through internal or external calibration services. You will follow and support the ISO 17025 Quality Standard. General duties & responsibilities:

• Perform calibrations and adjustments on electrical instruments.
• Maintain both primary and secondary calibration standards per published schedules.
• Collect data, record information, and generate calibration certificates. Train fellow technicians in the use of standards and procedures.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends to meet production demand.
• Jobs on this career band use technical/analytics skills to complete work often to support jobs in the Professional band
• Typically requires vocational training or the equivalent experience and may require external certification but typically does not require a university degree
• No formal supervisory responsibility though may provide mentoring, coaching, and scheduling for less experienced staff

• Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong soldering skills
• Able to troubleshoot to component level on printed circuit assemblies
• Proficient with oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• This candidate will be working with High Voltage and must have and electronic background with strong soldering skills, and able to trouble shoot to component level.
