Job OpportunityKimley-Horn is looking for a CAD Operator to join our growing Survey team in Bellevue, Washington (WA). This is an in-office role in a supportive, mentorship-focused environment. Join our team and work on diverse, impactful project work across Washington and the United States.ResponsibilitiesThe person in this position will use basic computer drafting software to generate survey drawings and plats for Kimley-Horn projects using AutoCAD Civil 3DTranslate field-collected data into clear, accurate deliverablesSupport boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS and construction surveysDesigning and producing sets of plans; implementing and managing AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standardsAssists in maintaining drawing databasePerforms routine analysis to check accuracy of dataDevelop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standardsCollaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and timely deliveryQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)0 to 3 years of relevant experience in survey or civil draftingProficiency (or coursework) in Autodesk products preferredUnderstanding of basic survey principles a bonus (boundary, topo, GIS, etc.)Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starterStrong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learnAbility to work independently and with a teamSalary Range:$60,000 - $70,000Eligible for Performance Based Bonus CompensationWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
