CAD DraftsmanThe CAD Draftsman operates AutoCAD computer system, including creating, updating and modifying drawings, and performs manual drafting.Essential FunctionsCreates AutoCAD drawings for projects.Creates and modifies architectural details for upcoming projects.Scans/Copies project drawings as needed.Maintains accurate and timely documentation pertinent to individual projects.Communicates with external and internal contacts in person and on telephone, answers questions and directs to appropriate individual when necessary.Works closely with architects contractors and independent reps.Performs other related duties, as assigned.CompetenciesProficient with architectural drawings, AutoCAD software.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to manage several projects at one time.Must have computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Windows.Required Education and ExperienceAssociate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in AutoCAD, drafting or related field.At least one-two years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsThis is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required.This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.Entry Level Non-exempt.Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM – Day shift.Hours may be flexible.We OfferA competitive benefit package which includes a Success Bonus program.Medical, Dental, Vision.Employer paid Life; Short/Long Term Disability.401(k).A Drug/Smoke free environment.Winco Window is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.
