CAD/CAM Dental DesignerLocation: Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaEmployment Type: Full-Time | On-siteAbout the RoleA growing dental laboratory in 50 minutes Northwest of Philadelphia, PA is seeking an experienced CAD/CAM Dental Designer with strong knowledge of both 3Shape and Exocad. This position is ideal for a skilled digital designer who is comfortable working on a variety of restorative cases and wants to be part of a collaborative, quality-focused lab environment.The right candidate should have a strong understanding of digital dental workflows, restorative design principles, and the ability to manage cases accurately and efficiently from digital scan to final design.Key ResponsibilitiesThe CAD/CAM Dental Designer will be responsible for:Designing dental restorations using 3Shape and ExocadWorking on Crown & Bridge, implant, and more complex restorative casesSupporting full-arch / All-on-X or large reconstructive cases when neededReviewing digital scans, prescriptions, and case requirements before designCommunicating with the lab team to ensure accuracy, function, and estheticsCollaborating with technicians, managers, and clinical partners on complex casesMaintaining quality, consistency, and timely completion of digital casesHelping improve digital workflows and overall production efficiencySupporting junior team members when needed, depending on experience levelRequired QualificationsPrior experience as a Dental CAD/CAM DesignerStrong working knowledge of 3Shape and ExocadExperience designing Crown & Bridge restorationsImplant design experience preferredFull-arch / All-on-X experience is a strong plusStrong understanding of occlusion, anatomy, margins, contacts, and estheticsAbility to read prescriptions and follow detailed case instructionsOrganized, reliable, and able to manage case deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to work well with a teamPreferred BackgroundThe ideal candidate will have experience with:Crown & Bridge digital designImplant restorationsSmile design or anterior esthetic casesFull-arch or large reconstructive casesDigital lab workflows from scan review through productionBoth 3Shape and Exocad in a production lab environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $75,000 – $100,000, depending on experience and technical capabilitiesCompensation may be flexible for candidates with advanced technical skills, complex case experience, and the ability to support workflow improvement or team trainingAttractive incentives and/or performance bonuses may be availablePotential profit-sharing opportunitiesPaid Time OffPaid holidaysWeekends offHealth insuranceRelocation assistance may be available for the right candidate
