This role helps ensure event sites are properly measured, drawings are production-ready, and permit applications are submitted with complete and accurate information. The position combines technical drafting with permit coordination and includes both office-based work and occasional site visits.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once.What You'll DoCoordinate permit applications and supporting documents for events requiring local approvalCommunicate with fire departments, permitting agencies, and local jurisdictions to support timely permit approvalTrack permit deadlines, fees, application requirements, and approval statusMaintain organized permit records, agency contacts, fee schedules, and jurisdiction-specific requirementsConduct venue site surveys and collect accurate measurements for layouts and venue templatesCreate and revise CAD layouts, floorplans, and renderings using company drafting standardsPrepare drawings and layouts used by Sales, clients, and Production teams during event planning and installationRevise layouts based on client requests, site conditions, or operational updatesMaintain accurate venue templates, CAD files, and drawing librariesReview drawings and permit documents for accuracy, consistency, and production readinessCollaborate with Sales, CAD, and Operations to meet project timelines and resolve missing informationWhat You BringRequiredExperience using CAD software, drafting tools, or technical drawing programsAbility to read measurements and create accurate layouts, floorplans, or technical drawingsStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesClear written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization and follow-through when tracking permits, revisions, and project informationAbility to learn and follow company drafting standards, technical systems, and permitting proceduresAbility to work independently while collaborating with Sales, CAD, Operations, clients, and local agenciesAbility to travel locally for site surveys, venue walkthroughs, and field measurements as neededAbility to sit and work at a computer for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, and use measuring tools or related equipment during site visitsCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive pay: $30.00 to $35.00 per hourPaid time off and company holidaysComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Basic Life and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityTelehealth and Wellness programsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Employee Assistance Program401(k) with employer matchingOur Culture & WorkA team that has your back: We work across sales, warehouse, logistics, and operations to make every event successful.
