Cactus Wellhead PositionThis is a Cactus Wellhead position and is located in Bossier City, LA. Night Shift: 5pm-5amJob Summary: Performs various machining tasks to program, set up, and operate a CNC Lathe, Mill, or Multi Axis Machine. Measure and inspect all parts produced to API standards.Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, programs, and regulationsAbility to create new programs based on engineering drawings and specificationsAbility to program a variety of CNC controlsFamiliar with Mazak machines and Mazatrol CNC controlsDeliver quality parts in a timely manner with limited scrapSet up machinery for production runsIdentify and select proper machine toolingEnsure that the production parts meet specifications and verify their quality according to API standardsMeasure and inspect production parts using precision measuring toolings such as micrometers, calipers, plug gages, and thread gagesFollows lockout tag-out proceduresKeep machine and machining areas clean and free of debrisPerform other regular duties as assigned or requestedWork Overtime and or weekends as necessary to meet customer demand.Education, Training, Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: NoneJob Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Ability to read and understand detailed instruction drawings and specifications on wellhead equipment and valves.Ability to use micrometers and calipersKnowledge of good document control and process flow.Intermediate computer, language, and mathematical skills and advanced reasoning ability.Knowledge of Quality systemsSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneDisclaimer: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this position.
