Hours: Minimum of 12 hours up to 20 hours per week - Flexible schedule with some nights and evenings (primarily Wednesdays).

Summary
Assists the Cable Television Producer/Director in production, shooting and editing of various government access programming for the Township's cable television channel.
Works under the general supervision of the Cable Television Producer/Director.
Duties
Assists in production of news packages.
Assists in live broadcasts.
Edits video projects.
Assists in production of Public Service Announcements.
Creates video/computer graphics.
Operates cameras/assisting on field shoots.
Qualifications
High school or college student pursuing a course study in television/video production.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Well versed in video operation and engineering.
Requires skill in all aspects of videography, video editing, graphics composition and script writing.
Knowledge of local government and Government Access Channel production preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per workday, stand for up to 5 hours per workday, walk for up to 3 hours per workday and drive for up to 4 hours per workday.
Ability to use both hands for simple grasping, firm grasping and fine manipulation of objects and equipment.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, operate television production equipment and shift body positions alternating between carrying camera on shoulder and side.
Ability to bend, reach above shoulder level, climb, lift, push/pull and kneel for up to 68% of the workday for manipulation of television production equipment.
Ability to perform job functions using safety precautions around moving machinery including heavy equipment used outdoors.
Ability to perform job functions in all types of weather and temperatures and move between indoors and outdoors for shooting.
Ability to drive automobile for off-site shooting.
Ability to perform job functions using safety precautions where environmental conditions may be challenging, and loud noises may be present.
This position is not eligible for Township-paid fringe benefits.
