Cable Puller LeadDoota Industrial America is seeking an experienced Cable Puller Lead to oversee cable pulling crews on a major industrial construction project at the Samsung Semiconductor Plant in Taylor, Texas. The Cable Puller Lead is responsible for coordinating daily field activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and providing guidance to cable pullers while working closely with electricians, foremen, and project management.This position is ideal for a motivated leader with strong industrial construction experience who can maintain productivity, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality installations in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of cable pullers during daily operationsCoordinate cable pulling activities with electricians, foremen, and project supervisorsRead and interpret blueprints, cable schedules, conduit layouts, and installation drawingsPlan cable pulling routes and ensure proper installation methods are followedAssign daily tasks and monitor crew productivityEnsure cables are pulled, routed, secured, and labeled according to project specificationsCoordinate material staging, cable reels, tools, and equipmentInspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standardsMaintain daily production reports and communicate project progressTrain and mentor new cable pullers on proper installation techniques and safety proceduresEnforce OSHA regulations and Samsung site safety requirementsIdentify and resolve field issues while minimizing project delaysMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform hands-on cable pulling alongside the crew when neededAssist with additional electrical installation tasks as assignedSkills & Physical RequirementsStrong leadership and crew management skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to read construction drawings and cable schedulesKnowledge of cable pulling equipment, conduit systems, cable trays, and racewaysStrong understanding of industrial construction safety practicesAbility to prioritize work and meet production deadlinesComfortable working in active industrial construction environmentsMust be able to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work at heights for extended periodsFrequently lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work in varying weather conditions, heat, dust, and noiseStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsRequirementsMinimum 3+ years of industrial or commercial cable pulling experienceMinimum 1 year of experience leading or supervising cable pulling crewsOSHA 10 Certification (required)OSHA 30 Certification (preferred)Experience on semiconductor, manufacturing, data center, or large industrial construction projects preferredMust pass background check and pre-employment drug screenReliable transportation (6:30 AM start time is required)Ability to work overtime and weekends when project demands requireFamiliarity with Samsung site procedures is a plusStrong commitment to safety, quality, and teamworkPreferred QualificationsExperience leading crews of 5–15 cable pullersExperience coordinating work with licensed electriciansAbility to identify and troubleshoot installation issues in the fieldExperience using cable pulling equipment, tuggers, cable feeders, and tension monitoring equipmentBilingual (English/Spanish or English/Korean) is a plus
