Pay Rate: $18 to $24 per hour; Based on Experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Cable/Fiber Technicians to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in cable and fiber installations and troubleshooting, along with the ability to operate a Fluke tester proficiently. This position offers an immediate start as early as January 27th and provides the potential for a direct hire after the initial temporary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and troubleshoot cable and fiber systems.
- Operate Fluke testers to ensure the quality and integrity of network systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Proven 1+ year of experience as a Cable/Fiber Technician.
- Proficiency in operating Fluke testers.
- Strong understanding of cable and fiber installations and maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
