Cable Assembly TechnicianA growing industrial manufacturing company in the Greenspoint area is seeking an experienced Cable Assembly Technician to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a hands-on production role for someone who enjoys working with cables, connectors, and electrical components and takes pride in producing high-quality assemblies.What You'll DoBuild service loops, bridles, and power, control, and instrumentation cable assembliesRead and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, pinout schedules, bills of material, and work instructionsMeasure, cut, prepare, route, bundle, terminate, and assemble cables and connectorsPerform cable preparation and connector terminations according to specificationsInspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and proper workmanshipComplete production travelers and document materials, measurements, inspections, and test resultsPerform electrical inspections and testing, including continuity, pinout, and insulation resistance testing as requiredIdentify material issues, drawing discrepancies, or quality concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team memberAssist with final inspection, testing, packaging, and shipment preparationMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWhat We're Looking ForPrevious hands-on experience with cable assembly, wire harnesses, electrical assembly, service loops, or similar industrial productsExperience preparing cables and assembling or terminating electrical connectorsAbility to read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityComfortable using hand tools and equipment associated with cable and electrical assemblyAbility to accurately measure, document, and inspect completed workReliable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environmentPreferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus:Industrial or offshore cable assembliesDrilling equipmentMarine applicationsFiber optic assembliesElectrical testing equipmentIPC workmanship standardsThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Cable Assembly Technician looking for a long-term position with a growing industrial manufacturing company.
