Cabinetmaker

An established construction and woodworking company is seeking an experienced Custom Cabinet Maker to join its team. This individual will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing custom cabinetry, furniture, and architectural millwork based on project specifications and shop drawings.

The ideal candidate has hands-on woodworking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with other members of the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom cabinets, face frames, furniture, and other millwork using shop drawings and cut lists.
• Operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, jointers, planers, routers, and shapers.
• Safely use a variety of power tools and hand tools throughout the fabrication process.
• Perform cabinet assembly, glue-ups, sanding, and hardware installation.
• Install hinges, drawer slides, pulls, and other cabinet components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and project specifications.
• Work alongside the lead builder on complex projects while independently managing assigned tasks.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, proper fit, structural integrity, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custom cabinetry, woodworking, or cabinet manufacturing.
• General knowledge of woodworking joints, hardwoods, sheet goods, and cabinet construction methods.
• Experience operating professional-grade woodworking machinery and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and cut lists.
• Cabinet installation and/or finishing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
