C-Store Manager

The Trading Post Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the STOFI Trading Post, that includes convenience store, food service, and fuel operations. The incumbent focuses on driving strategic growth, improving operational efficiency, expanding product and service offerings, and delivering exceptional customer experience. The Manager oversees daily operations, ensures compliance, manages financial performance, and builds a high performing team to support long term business success. The individual constantly monitors floor operations and provides assistance to staff, as needed. This position works under the general direction of the General Manager of the Trading Posts and is an exempt position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience at a convenience store (C-stores), gas stations, travel center, or similar retail management experience is required. Prior experience evaluating new product categories, service expansions, or technology upgrades, is highly preferred. Solid understanding of fuel management, regulated product sales, and retail compliance requirements is required. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage complex operations. Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages and Point of Sales (POS) systems, fuel management platforms, and basic reporting tools. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to be On-call for urgent operational issues or emergencies.
