The team builds systems responsible for moving, storing and accessing large volumes of data with extremely demanding requirements around latency, throughput and reliability. This is a strong fit for engineers coming from high-performance storage, database or distributed systems teams in Big Tech or similarly technical environments.
Design and build high-performance storage systems in modern C++ Optimize I/O, memory usage, concurrency and data access paths Work on distributed storage and large-scale data infrastructure Profile systems and identify performance bottlenecks across the stack Solve problems involving caching, filesystems, networking and CPU/memory performance
Strong professional C++ experience Excellent systems fundamentals across Linux, concurrency, memory and networking Experience with storage engines, databases, filesystems or distributed storage Strong understanding of performance optimization and profiling Background from a high-calibre engineering environment
Engineers from companies such as Google, Meta, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, NVIDIA and other systems-focused organizations are particularly relevant.
