C++ Software Engineer – Work From HomeThe successful C++ Software Engineer should be a highly experienced group who are developing systems that will contribute to a low-latency trading platform. This position will be working closely with traders, quants and other software engineers to implement and extend the different parts of the trading infrastructure including low-latency order management and trade execution, tick data infrastructure, back testing and simulation systems, and calculation and modeling engines. The C++ Software Engineer will use modern software tools in an agile project management process with a focus on continuous integration and regression testing to build highly performant code in a Linux environment.
This position is 100% Remote.C++ Software Engineer Responsibilities:Provide and maintain firm-wide SDKs and services for OS abstraction, strategy promotion, latency tracking, telemetry, performance optimization, operational visibility and automation frameworks.Use modern software tools in an agile project management process with a focus on continuous integration and regression testing to build highly performant code in a Linux environment.C++ Software Engineer Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year university in computer science, engineering, and math.3 to 5 years of software engineering experience.Core proficiency in C++11/14/17, preferably on a Linux platform.Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and object-oriented design (OOD).Experience with multithreading, real-time systems, and socket programming.Ultra-low latency programming experience.Experience with python and/or JavaScript is highly desired.A self-motivated personality with a passion for working in a trading organization.Experience in finance or trading is a definite plus.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, health savings account, life insurance policy, short-term/long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program, etc.
