Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Properly verify components to shop order prior to assembly.

Meet or exceed quality and production standards on a daily basis. Proper handling of product to prevent damage. Report all equipment maintenance problems daily. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work with and always display a team concept approach, working individually, or as a team. HU retrieval, Order set-up, Pre-kitting (ILS), Kitting, bagging, printing and/or labelling, hand packing, "catching" F/G units, board line component "dropping", and arranging bearing sets are all processes within the department required to perform the assembly job functions.This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Employee must have good eye/hand coordination. Must be able to perform repetitive functions for an extended period of time.

High School diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of engine parts preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to complete basic math calculations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Good analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to feel, handle; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
