Proprietary trading firm with global market access is looking for a C++ Developer to join an internal trading team. This individual will work directly with traders, quants, and a senior architect to build and enhance cross-asset trading systems. The firm trades global futures, equities, commodities, options, fixed income, and cryptocurrencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop and improve our proprietary trading system that trades across asset classes and geographies
- Collaborate with traders and quants to implement new trading strategies
- Understand existing processes and contribute ideas to enhance development, deployment, and operational pipelines
- Take ownership of key components while working closely with the senior architect
- Continuously identify areas for performance optimization and system scalability
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional software development experience
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Familiarity with Python and Bash scripting
- Prior experience with trading systems or financial applications is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to be self-driven and motivated to learn
- Open to learning quickly and adapting in a feedback-driven environment
