C&A Psych Director – Full‑time, Exempt Medical Director / Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $300,000.00 – $325,000.00
Position Description
The role reports to the President & CEO. It includes a minimum of 20 hours per week of direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, treatment planning, and consultation on complex cases.
Remaining time supports clinical leadership, supervision, documentation review, quality improvement, compliance, program development, and community engagement. The position is fully outpatient with clinic hours Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (some days 9:00 AM–6:00 PM). There are no inpatient responsibilities and no traditional call requirements (no nights, weekends, or holiday coverage).
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $300,000–$325,000 (based on experience). Other compensation includes:
- $60,000 sign‑on bonus with a three‑year commitment
- Up to $15,000 in relocation reimbursement
Benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, CME allowance, and malpractice coverage.
Location
The position is based in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
