Buyer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Buyer to join our team. This role involves managing the purchasing process, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring quality control of materials and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and have a keen eye for detail in price and cost analysis.
Responsibilities
- Execute RFQs/RFIs and process purchase requisitions for a wide range of materials and services.
- Conduct thorough price and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Work with suppliers to address and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and pricing.
- Enter and update purchase orders accurately and promptly.
- Manage supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and track cost savings.
- Oversee the quality of purchased materials and manage Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
Essential Skills
- 3-5+ years of purchasing/buying experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of tactical purchasing and supplier management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of manufacturing commodities such as wire and cable, connectors, and CNC-machined components.
- Ability to read drawings and prepare supplier quote packages.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Strong tenure and job stability required.
Work Environment
Located in Windsor Mill, MD, this position operates fully on-site from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The work environment is structured and involves close interaction with suppliers and team members to ensure seamless operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $48.08/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
