Position Summary:
- Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer in the Savannah, GA area who is seeking a Buyer that will assist in the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services for a multi-site organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA Required
- Experience Working with Current Suppliers
- Maintaining Relationship
- Constant Communication
- Experience Placing POs / Handling Invoices
- Experience Working With Multiple Commodities
- Manufacturing Experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain purchase order information in internal systems.
- Monitor orders and follow up on outstanding or time-sensitive items.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, pricing, and delivery issues.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, and deliveries.
- Assist with expediting critical materials and purchases.
- Review open orders and communicate potential impacts to operations.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and purchasing documentation.
- Maintain organized and accurate purchasing records.
