We’re looking for a Buyer to join a growing manufacturing company in Coconut Creek. This is a hands-on role focused on purchasing ingredients and packaging materials, managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory, and ensuring production has the materials it needs.
The ideal candidate has a strong purchasing foundation, enjoys working with data, and can identify opportunities to improve pricing, inventory levels, and purchasing processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take on more ownership and grow into a larger purchasing role over time.
What You’ll Do
- Manage purchase orders and coordinate deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and production needs
- Analyze pricing, purchasing trends, and opportunities for cost savings
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors
- Resolve shortages, delivery issues, and pricing discrepancies
- Partner closely with production and operations
- Help improve purchasing and inventory processes
What We’re Looking For
- Purchasing, procurement, or buying experience
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Experience working with inventory and suppliers
- Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
- Food manufacturing or packaging experience is a plus
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Someone motivated to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibility
