Buyer

We are looking for a Buyer to join a Cleveland-area manufacturing team. This role is a great fit for someone who understands manufacturing operations, enjoys working with vendors, and can manage purchasing from sourcing and pricing through delivery.

What you’ll do:

• Purchase raw materials, supplies, outside services, and other items needed to support production.
• Source vendors, review bids and quotes, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Create and manage purchase orders using SAP.
• Track orders, resolve purchasing issues, and ensure timely delivery.
• Work with internal departments to support production needs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality, and delivery.

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• SAP/ERP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
• Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
