Business Unit Manager/Product Manager – Product Line P&L Leader

Open Locations: Onsite in Valencia, CA and Placentia, CA (Up to $190K + 25% Bonus)

Prescott, AZ (Up to $170K Base Plus 25% Bonus)

Summary

Our client, a growing industrial and aerospace manufacturing organization, is hiring a Business Unit Manager/Product Manager to serve as the top-to-bottom owner of a product line. You'll own P&L results, lead a cross-functional team across sales, operations, engineering, and quality, and drive profitable new business growth.

Requirements

• 5–15 years of professional experience with demonstrated P&L, product line, or business unit ownership in a manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing background required; aerospace or industrial experience preferred
• Broad business knowledge across technical sales, engineering, finance, and operations
• Demonstrated ability to drive results in current and prior positions
• Must be a U.S. citizen - Person able to work with ITAR-controlled products and data without restriction
• Willingness to travel globally, approximately 25–30%

Responsibilities

• Own P&L results for the product line, including daily and monthly planning of shipments, costs, and key decisions
• Lead a cross-functional team of sales, engineering, and manufacturing personnel to meet business unit objectives
• Drive value creation through value-based pricing, continual cost improvement, and market analysis
• Identify and win profitable new business opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with new accounts, distributors, end users, and OEMs
• Negotiate sales and marketing contractual commitments with OEMs and end users
• Provide weekly and monthly sales/bookings reports to leadershipRepresent the company at trade shows, conventions, and industry seminars
• Manage a small team of direct reports across office and field roles
