Technical AnalystThe Technical Analyst is instrumental throughout the lifecycle of a product. The technical analyst will capture user requirements, partner with IT technical teams to translate to technical tasks, will oversee the delivery of small projects, and validate the outcomes are achieved before engaging business owners for Acceptance Testing. The Technical Analyst also intimately understands the functionality of a system/ tool, how a user interacts with the tool, and the integrations and data that feeds the application or tool.
The technical analyst may perform Agile Product Owner duties for matrixed scrum teams, and in the absence of dedicated QA support may write and execute QA test cases to ensure quality is achieved.Essential Functions:Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions/interviews with business stakeholdersTranslate requirements into Use CasesWork closely with third party vendors to define and document requirements, implement new features into platform, test in lower environments and support releases.Interact directly with business owners and act as a trusted partner and subject matter expert about our Digital properties, including our website, mobile app, catering site, and internal digital assetsPartner with Solution Architecture to feed solution design and to validate solution will meet requirements.Partner with IT leads to translate requirements into technical tasksIn partnership with a solution architect, create visual representations of systems, either current state or desire end stateCreate functional user flows, how to articles, and generally own and enhance a knowledgebaseTranslate Use Cases into Test CasesPerform application and system testingDevelop and implement test plans for product defectsWork closely with the product team on the design and development of new featuresCreate and maintain documentation and tutorialsImplement new processes and create new tools to automate testingKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:3 + years of direct experience within the custom software development environment.2+ years of direct experience within Ecommerce Websites and Mobile applicationsExperience working within a formal software lifecycle development methodologyStrong requirements gathering and documentation skills.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Retail environment experience is preferred but not required.Experience in Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing and Regression Testing.Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to adapt to new and dynamic environments.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with time constraints while paying attention to details.Excel in asking probing questions and researching, analyzing, and rectifying problems.Strong skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly, and find solutions to solving them independently in a timely manner.Exhibit good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applications.Able to carry out tasks with little or no supervision.Technical Skills:Microsoft Office Suite user, including MS Visio and ProjectAzure Dev OpsLucid ChartMicrosoft SharePoint userFamiliarity with Microsoft core technologiesAdept at change management and release management policies and procedures.Preference given to candidates with proficiency in SQL and/or integrationsKnowledge of Ecommerce Platforms and systems (instacart commerce preferred)Personality Traits:Maintain high levels of integrity and dependabilityMaintain a focus on results, quality and customer satisfactionWorks well in a team environment and effectively manage work activitiesProject a professional demeanor and appearanceBe extremely flexible and adaptableDemonstrates the ability to function and stay focused in a constant pressure, fast growing and ever-changing organizationPlease share resume to
