Overview
A well-established and growth-focused financial institution is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence & Systems Manager to lead data-driven initiatives across the organization. This pivotal role will support enterprise-wide strategic decision-making by delivering high-quality reporting, visual analytics, and integrated system solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership—especially the CFO—to launch and build a centralized Business Intelligence Unit that services all divisions of the bank. You\'ll also play a critical role in evaluating and onboarding new technologies while overseeing systems integration and data migration projects.
Base pay range : $105,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Design, produce, and manage dynamic dashboards, performance reports, and data extracts using internal systems and analytics tools.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to shape and launch a new Business Intelligence Unit supporting retail, commercial, lending, compliance, and other business lines.
- Lead the implementation and integration of new enterprise applications and data tools, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal configuration.
- Conduct needs assessments and provide recommendations for new software platforms and productivity tools based on operational and strategic requirements.
- Supervise BI analysts, reporting specialists, or other staff within the Business Intelligence function.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy across reporting systems; ensure compliance with industry standards and internal controls.
- Deliver ad-hoc data insights to support cross-functional initiatives and improve decision-making at all organizational levels.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business systems management, or related fields—preferably within financial services or banking.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, data extraction, and report automation.
- Strong experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
- Proven track record of system implementation, data migration, or enterprise software integration projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, IT, operations, and finance teams.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a technical or analytical setting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with banking systems and core platforms (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry, Fiserv) is a strong asset.
- Experience in regulatory reporting or compliance reporting for financial institutions is a plus.
