Business Systems ConsultantLocation: Trenton, NJ - HybridDuration: 6 MonthsShort Description: Full-time professional Information Technology Project Development work experience and/or Function/Business Process Analysis work experience. Developing workflows, mockups, requirements, testing and production support for projects.Complete Description: Note: Requirement is Hybrid - Candidate must be available to work Onsite 2 Days / Week. Current local candidates preferred. Candidate will be extended when this PO is exhausted. Excellent verbal and written communication is required.The Business Systems Consultant III serves as a business analyst for projects involving critical data processing systems for the New Jersey Judiciary.Relevant Work Experience6 to 8 yrs.

Experience:3 years of relevant experience; 5 plus years in particular application area4-year college degree or equivalent study under the direction of the supervisor of the business analyst team or designated project leader.Skills RequiredExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong skills in Microsoft VisioExperience with developing systems via a structured SDLC methodologyExperience with testing, training and user supportExperience with UI designAbility to analyze and document complex business processes and work flows, and propose areas for improvementAbility to gather data via diverse means (i.e. interviews, observation, surveys, existing written documentation) and interpret relevant informationAbility to document storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, system flows, interfaces, use cases, and business rules.ResponsibilitiesThe BSC will be responsible for the development and documentation of business requirements, create User Interface mockups, assist the technical teams in the development and documentation of technical requirements, test the resultant software (including user Acceptance Testing), create instruction manuals and teach the system to end users. The BSC will be expected to learn multiple complex systems and work with a team of business analysts under the supervision of the project lead and or lead business analyst on multiple projects. The BSC may also be called upon to perform limited project management functions.
