Business Systems AnalystClient is seeking an Expert Level Business Systems Analyst to support the CAST Team with modernization initiatives for a 12 month engagement. Develop Design Specifications of the existing system(s) based on Extracted Architecture and Transaction Flows. Assist the team in mapping the System Transaction Flows to existing Business Process Models and document the mapping in a usable informational format.
Document the existing Application Features in a Requirements document that can be used as a start for the replacement system and/or used for a gap analysis to evaluate potential COTS packages that could be used as a replacement. Create Data Flow and Process Flow Diagrams.Required Skills:• App development experience in Mainframe or Distributed systems • Business process analysis, requirements development, and Technical Specification documentation • Excellent organization and presentation skills • Extensive knowledge of software/systems development lifecycle methodologies including SOA methodologies • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain business processes to IT users and IT applications to business users. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) • Proven experience writing clear and concise technical documentation and conveying technical and functional concepts.
