Business Systems Analyst - Quicksight and PortalAddress: Washington, DC 20024 (Remote) 12 Months Contract PositionJob Description: The BA shall define specifications and requirements and work with the vendor to ensure successful development. This position shall serve as the Subject Matter Expert on developing and implementing the AWS Quicksight application, required interfaces, and datasets. The BA shall be involved in developing project plans and often provide project management skills when these skills are not available to other project participants. In addition, the BA shall research, evaluate, and recommend architectural frameworks, technology solutions, and implementation strategies. The BA shall provide a liaison function between Client's business units and the providers of services to Client.
This position will negotiate agreements to resolve differing and competing needs and priorities based on needs, requirements, and resources. The BA shall develop presentations to ensure effective communication and oversee and manage expectations. Implementation (transition) requirements are capabilities or behaviors required to enable the transition from the enterprise's current state to its desired future state.Responsibilities:Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements specifications.Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience; or a current Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationSkill - Required No. of Years - Actual Years of Experience16+ yrs.
