Business Systems Analyst (BSA)Location: San Diego, CA - 2x/week onsite in Mira Mesa (Tuesdays & Thursdays) - 10181 Scripps Gateway Ct. San Diego, CA 92131. Not open to any candidates outside of SD county. Duration: 6 months to start.Project: titled MediSpan - working with the Formulary team to support different drug language and drug-related changes.Technical Requirements:4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst/BA/Systems Analyst – the team needs someone who already knows how to capture and translate business requirements and write out user stories.Someone who isn't afraid to take initiative and someone who is very responsive. Communicating with Formulary team and someone who is very analytical, understands data, someone who is interested, asking the right questions to the business/formulary team to get the detail out of the business teams.A drug formulary, also known as a drug list, is a list of prescription drugs that are covered by a health insurance plan or prescription drug plan.Need strong data analytics project experience.
Experience working with large data.SQL experience - this role is more focused on SQL data analysis and SQL queries. Lots of data management in this team.Healthcare or pharmacy industry experience (can flex here but try to find this first). This will help with their learning curve too if they're already familiar.Experience with Jira – this is what they use at Med Impact, but it's not a requirement. Any similar experience is still helpful.Experience with Web App/Software Dev/SDLC projects - Agile terminology, working with Developers/business stakeholders.
