Senior Application Systems AnalystLocation: Reston VA / Plano, TX (3 Days onsite Per week)Duration: 12+ Months ContractJob Description:Senior Application Systems AnalystResponsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities.May be responsible for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates and establishment and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs.Work with the business unit or other subject matter experts to identify or refine technical requirements for application under development or being revised.May be responsible for overall direction of the organization's design, maintenance and application activities to meet specific business needs of user areasSkills:Good communication skills (oral and written)Working knowledge of defining JSON schema and understanding REST API'sWorking knowledge of Object Objected Programming Language like JAVA and JSON based Database.Tools like XMY SPY, PostmanStrong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process modelling, and documentationExperience with data analysis and database management (SQL, Oracle, etc).Education/Work Experience:Bachelor Degree or Equivalent 7 plus years software development experience with experience with projects of similar scope and complexity.
