If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative setting, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is looking for a Laboratory Business Supervisor.ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Director, handles all fiscal and business activities of the laboratory including budgeting expenses, forecasting, purchasing, and contractingResponsible for managing and preparing the operation procurement, grants, statistics and KPI's reportingInterface between the Laboratory and stakeholders, including but not limited to vendors procurement, inventory management, document control management, tracking and statistics reportingMaintains operational performance and metrics analysisDemonstrates leadership skills, including team building and the ability to motivate and engage othersDemonstrates working knowledge of State, Federal and Local accreditation standards and regulatory requirementsAnalyzes data to identify opportunities and develop actionable improvements to better manage business needsParticipates in multidisciplinary task forces, committees and projects, demonstrating team spirit and ability to work with different internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate and support the laboratory management on established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standardsMaintains and control the inventory management system of supplies, reagents and consumablesSupervises the department courier services for the facility and outreach businessDemonstrates accountability, integrity, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovationFamiliar with the Medical Center's Mission, Vision, and Values StatementsOther Job DutiesPerforms other related duties as required.Job Setting/Physical DemandsPosition QualificationsRequired Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Business or related fieldMinimum of Three years of experience in a healthcare setting preferredHigh degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel requiredExcellent communication, organizational skills and strong attention to detailsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyTraining and development ability on Grants and Finance transacting mattersPreferred CriteriaMaster's in Business of Healthcare AdministrationMaster's in Healthcare ManagementSalary Commensurate with Experience with posted range:$65,000 to $75,000 annuallyWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plans.
