  • Pay: $120,000-$155,000

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7-10 years of sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience creating and implementing processes, training within supply chain
  • 5+ years of experience acting as a project manager within supply chain
  • Familiar with strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Master\'s Degree
  • APICS/ASCM certified
  • PMP

Job Description

A gas turbine company is looking for a Sourcing Specialist Business Process Lead to join their team. This person will play a strategic role within the Supply Chain and Logistics function. They will be creating and implementing processes and training for the entire supply chain organization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Supply Chain Support: Facilitates integration between procurement and facility support teams to ensure supply chain excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Identifies, defines, and implements supply chain solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Builds internal and external partnerships to explore sourcing opportunities and best practices.
  • Risk Assessment & Business Proposals: Evaluates the soundness of sourcing strategies and assesses associated risks.
  • Benchmarking & Metrics: Investigates industry standards to develop optimal supply chains and improve supplier performance.
  • Data Analysis: Uses data to prioritize cost-effective supply chain improvements, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
