Business Process Consultant (Senior)Multiyear contract with the State of FL - Must be willing to relocate to Tallahassee, FLHybrid Tallahassee: onsite frequently for meetingsMinimum Qualifications:Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with Department staff at various levelsA minimum of ten (10) years of IT business/industry work experienceA minimum of seven (7) years of experience in performing business analyses on projectsA minimum of seven years of experience in developing requirements for IT projectsExperience in the use of Microsoft Visio for creating the process model diagramsExperience with Agile methodologiesExperience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteriaPreferred Experience:Experience working on Microsoft Power Platform or similar low-code/no-code platform development projects.Experience developing or improving processes that adhere to basic case management or issuance principles.Skills and experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups of people to discuss business processes. The people involved may be at the manager level or end user level. People may be business-oriented or technical (IT) staff. The contractor will be expected to be the lead in all meetings and discussions related to their analysis.Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques is beneficial.Good verbal/communication skillsGood technical writing skillsGood problem solving and critical thinking skillsSkills and experience conducting Cost Benefit AnalysesSkills and experiences in business process re-engineeringSkills and experiences in deriving business process and data requirements from the reading and analyzing of process and systems documentation.Skills and experiences in translating the information from meetings and written materials into process models and/or process flow models.Writing skills and experience to create a data dictionary.
