Business Process Consultant

CMK Resources is seeking a Business Process Consultant to support a leading storage company on a high-visibility transformation initiative. This role is focused on ensuring seamless integration between CPQ, Salesforce, ERP, ServiceNow, and related enterprise platforms, helping to align business processes with scalable design and platform best practices. It will be based in California, and they would like someone in office 3 days a week, with up to 25% travel.

In this role, you will work across multiple business functions to design, optimize, and standardize processes that support advanced services, sales, order management, and field operations. You will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable requirements and ensuring those are effectively implemented within ServiceNow and related enterprise systems.

What you will be doing:

• Define and optimize complex, cross-functional business processes across service delivery, sales, and operations
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
• Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, Order Management, Advanced Services, and IT teams to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process discovery sessions.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and system administrators to support CPQ configuration, workflow design, pricing rules, discount structures, approvals, and system integrations.
• Ensure seamless integration between CPQ, Salesforce, ERP, ServiceNow, and related enterprise platforms.
• Drive process standardization and governance to support scalable, repeatable solutions
• Support testing, validation, and user adoption efforts across business units
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce friction, and deliver measurable business value

• Strong experience in business process consulting within enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience supporting CPQ implementations, migrations, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to map, design, and optimize cross-functional workflows
• Experience working across integrated systems such as Salesforce, CPQ, and ERP platforms
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and collaborate with delivery teams
• Experience supporting large-scale system migrations or digital transformation programs
