You'll ensure we have what we need to service our customers.As a Business Process Analyst, you will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of business unit/functional group business processes, the information/data required and generated by these processes, and the computer application functionality required to make these processes cost-effective and efficient. This position is on-site located at our San Antonio, TX facility.What you'll do:Develop process metrics and identify opportunities for improving these metrics building IT solutions.Develop clearly written requirements documents and process flows through partnership with functional teams and technical teams.Conduct acceptance testing of new business systems and system enhancements to ensure programming has been done in accordance with detailed specifications.Monitor, maintain and adjust business systems and applications as required.Develop business process conversion and implementation plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.Develop informational literature and user manuals and assists in the development of training material for technology-based or other business solutions.Becomes an expert in the business process workflows by working closely with the business operational leaders in the shopConducts workshops and lean events to facilitate value stream analysis and business process flow mapping.Seek out of the box solutions and challenges status quo to drive positive outcomes for the business.Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.Carries out special projects as assigned.Position Requirements:Must be authorized to work in the USMinimum of 5 years' experience as a business analyst or working in a similar roleThorough knowledge of business process redesign or reengineeringStrong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, leadership, decision making, oral and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of PCs in the current company operating system environment.Experience in business process management methodologies including process mapping, conducting lean events and value streamPreferred Characteristics:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldManufacturing, MRO or aviation industry experience a strong plusFamiliarity with writing basic SQL queries and data modeling experienceOracle ERP experience preferredKnowledge of Power BI or Tableau and other business reporting software.Benefits that make life better:Comprehensive Healthcare401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vestedPaid Time Off starting on day oneBonus opportunitiesHealth- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsShort- & Long-Term DisabilityLife & AD&D InsuranceLearning & Training opportunities
