Our adaptive approach ensures solutions evolve at the pace of shifting challenges, keeping our customers ahead of the curve.Role OverviewThe Business Operations Manager is a strategic leadership role at the center of how Canopy A&D runs as a platform. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role owns platform-wide operational execution, performance reporting, M&A integration, and develops the standardized operating model that allows Canopy A&D's operating companies to scale. This is a high-visibility role with regular interaction with the executive team.

The ideal candidate embraces ambiguity, and can lead multiple complex, cross-functional workstreams end-to-end with minimal oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild platform-level systems and processes that establish a standardized operating model across the operating companiesLead strategic initiatives and operational projects that enable Canopy A&D to scaleLead M&A operational integration including ERP adoption, and systems/process consolidationOwn all corporate metrics and lead monthly and quarterly reporting cycles across the platformOwn the end-to-end creation and rollout of functional standard operating procedures across the operating companiesManage platform investments and track return on investmentAdvise platform and company leadership on how to operate efficientlyRequired QualificationsB.S. in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field6-9 years in program management, operations, engineering, or management consulting, preferably within a highly regulated manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to manage 6-8 workstreams end-to-end simultaneouslyAdvanced knowledge of AI toolsProficiency with ERP systemsAdvanced-level user of Microsoft PowerPoint and ExcelExperience building materials for, and presenting directly to, executive leadership and investorsPreferred QualificationsMBA or master's degree in Business, Engineering Management, Operations, or a related technical fieldPrior experience in a startup, private-equity-backed, or high-growth manufacturing environment with evolving systems and processesExperience leading or supporting M&A integration, including systems and process harmonization across newly acquired entitiesExperience working within A&D or similarly regulated industries (AS9100, ITAR/EAR etc.)Additional RequirementsMust have professional working proficiency reading, writing, and speaking EnglishAbility to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments with occasional exposure to noise, chemicals, dust, industrial equipment, and temperature variationsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer workstationFrequent use of hands and fingers for data entry, keyboarding, and mouse useAbility to view computer screens for prolonged periodsAbility to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via emailAbility to use a computer to complete assignmentsWillingness to work long hours and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlinesWillingness to travel to other Canopy A&D sites as neededThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
