Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reports. Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems. Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within the project controls function. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks.
Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of project controls to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to managers or professional staff. Participates in the development of project controls strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures in estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.Oversight/execution of all contract business operations including:Interface with Contracting Officer, CO Representative, and Resource AnalystDevelopment/maintenance of and ensure compliance with business office processes/proceduresContract administration, compliance, and interpretationDevelopment/reporting of customer deliverable financial productsReview and analysis of actual costsReview and analysis of forecastApproval of forecasting ratesCost performance analysis/review or prepare monthly PSR packageCost allocation/account assignmentTimesheet auditing/charging guidanceSupplemental pay verificationPeriodic rate analysisSupports annual task order development and pricing activitiesPrepare and maintain FY Program revenue and profit projectionsPerform contract margin analysisApprove material procurement requisitions / resolve issues with vendors/invoicing/accruals etc.Support internal/external auditsSupports contract compliance and interpretation activitiesEnsure PM/DPM are well-informed of business-related activities/issuesQualifications - Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of experience.Knowledge of FAR and DOW FAR requirementsKnowledge of DOW Financial Reporting requirementsExcellent communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsPrior Managerial experience is a plusBasic Compensation:$109,600 - $164,300The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, and in consideration of internal parityAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
