Position OverviewThe Technology & Operational Risk department within the Multifamily division is seeking a Business Management Lead. The Business Management Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing all contractual related engagements for the department.
The role will report to the Chief of Staff, Senior Director and oversee all supplier engagements (vendor performance, renewals, negotiations, and financial reviews), as well as be responsible for supporting budget tracking and financial performance monitoring for MF Tech & Ops Risk. The successful candidate will ensure strategies are prioritized effectively within the division and organization.Our ImpactFreddie Mac Multifamily finances rental housing to ensure an ample supply of affordable housing. We cover large metropolitan areas, mid-market cities and smaller communities to house a wide array of renters such as students, working families and more.We lead the strategy and execution needed to deliver on this mission by working with the Multifamily business leaders to develop tools and digital solutions to further support our mission.We prudently leverage our extensive data assets and risk management capabilities to scale our mission of providing affordable housing.We foster an inclusive environment which promotes active engagement, intellectual curiosity, and skill development to empower a dynamic workforce.Your ImpactReview, analyze and maintain all contractual engagements for the Tech & Ops Risk department to include renewals, new acquisitions, vendor performance, risk assessments, negotiations, and financial reviews to ensure milestones are delivered as expected and meet appropriate SLAsServes as the point of contact for ad hoc reporting and financial analysis that address business needs.Supports monthly governance meetings for critical EOTCP and strategic vendors with key stakeholders and vendor executivesCollaborates with ESC, Legal, Finance, and various teams to ensure alignment in criticality and pipeline is up to date and reviewedGains in-depth understanding of division and business unit priorities. Gathers information, analyzes data to identify potential risks, and frames and recommends solutions. Employs business knowledge, relationships, and creativity to develop and consider alternatives. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
