Business Litigation Associate

Overview

• The Business Litigation Group represents clients including Google, Nestlé, Adobe, Visa, Dell, and L'Oreal in disputes across Northern California and nationwide.
• The group is known for its lean staffing model, typically with a partner and one or two associates, and a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes while preserving client resources.
• Associates gain early, hands-on responsibility in case strategy, depositions, motion practice, client counseling, and trial work, with examples including examining CEOs, cross-examining experts, and arguing pre-trial motions in high-stakes federal and state trials.
• Litigators within the firm work seamlessly with colleagues in corporate, insurance, real estate, and white-collar practices.
• Candidates should possess a high level of academic achievement from a highly ranked law school and strong legal writing skills; previous experience as a judicial clerk is strongly preferred.
• The role requires working a minimum of 3 days on average in the San Francisco office.
