Business Intelligence ManagerThis position will be focused on leading, managing and developing a team of BI Developers, focused in a Microsoft environment building out strategic dashboards and methods of visualizing data using PowerBI, and leveraging Databricks. This manager role will interface with executive stakeholders, product managers, customers and partners to align priorities, develop a cohesive strategy and deliver elegant data visualization across the organization.What You'll Be DoingLead, manage, and coach BI Developers, ensuring high team engagementDrive development and execution of the BI strategy and best practices, including common data models, metric standards, and intuitive, engaging, and trusted visualization developmentManage the relationship with outside resources/managed service partners who support the platform and toolsEnsure effective resource planning and aligned deployment schedulesBe a catalyst for data and analytics across the enterprise, leading strong communications and collaboration with analytics teams and others doing or leveraging analytic role across the companyProvide strategic recommendations on technology upgrades, deployments, and retirementsDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee developmentSkills We're Seeking8+ years of experience with BI Development At least 2+ years of experience using Power BI2+ years of experience with people management (NOT just project management), managing direct reports that have BI skill sets (managing BI Developers)Experience developing or managing BI teams in Microsoft / Azure environments At least 2+ years of experience with Databricks in either a hands on or management capacityNice To Have ExperienceDAX experiencePython experienceExperience with mobile analytics
