This position will be required to learn the ERP database schema, write complex queries, views, and stored procedures, and have the ability to validate result sets to ensure quality and accuracy. This position will be tasked with building reports and dashboards for multiple business units. We desire a candidate with experience in any programming or scripting language (PHP, PowerShell, C#, etc.), an analytical mindset, and the drive to take the initiative to learn and grow their knowledge base.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business users and subject matter experts to establish a vision for providing BI solutions.Translate business intelligence requirements into technical specificationsUtilize MSSQL and other database tools (including but not limited to Oracle EPM) to build and modify meaningful reports and dashboards for business unitsPerform SQL queries - design, code, test, and aggregate the results to create useful informationBuild aggregated data marts to provide data models and visualizations for Power BIWrite technical documentations.QualificationsRequiredAssociate degree and/or 4+ years of related experienceBusiness analysis skillsRDBMS (Relational Database Management system) experiencePrevious experience with learning database schemasAbility to write intermediate/advanced queries using T-SQLUnderstanding of data warehousing and ETL processesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferredPower BIDAX (data analysis expressions)Programming or scripting experienceSSISPrevious experience analyzing financial informationExperience with Infor SX.e ERPProgress SQL-92Schedule & LocationMonday – Friday Daytime HoursLansing, ILFull-time, 40 hours/weekIn-officeSalary ExpectationsMinimum starting salary of $60k annuallyStarting salary based on experience
