About the Role
Seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to support and maintain enterprise-scale Tableau environments within a large Windows-based infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands‑on administrator with strong Tableau Server expertise, a solid understanding of Windows Server technologies, and experience supporting large‑scale deployments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong infrastructure background and be comfortable collaborating with engineering teams to ensure the stability, performance, security, and scalability of Tableau platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, maintain, and support Tableau Server environments.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and system health.
- Manage Tableau Server upgrades, patches, migrations, and deployments.
- Configure and maintain user access, security, authentication, and permissions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, infrastructure, and performance‑related issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to support enterprise initiatives.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python and/or Ansible.
- Participate in planning, implementation, and optimization of large‑scale Tableau deployments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Infrastructure Engineering, Technology Infrastructure, or related experience.
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on Tableau Server Administration experience.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server and Windows OS administration .
- Experience with Tableau Server installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python scripting for automation and administration tasks.
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and infrastructure management tools.
- Experience working within highly regulated or large corporate environments.
