Meeting our customer's needs means to be constantly challenging our employees with an entirely new and exciting way to work.The OpportunityReporting to the Director of Regional Operations, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for:Achieving their sales quota and sets a personal quota which should exceed the Company's standardDeveloping new contractual business for the Company accomplished by diligent sales effort on their part; Entails an organized program of sales activity which includes an effective prospecting system, developing prospective clients through organization, referrals, associations and contacts by their own initiativeDeveloping and maintaining a target account system for major prospective clientsCompleting necessary reports and paperwork for all sales transactionsEnsuring that all goods and services sold are at a fair price and within Company policy on pricing, selling and collectionMaintaining sales support and presentations materials in an organized and professional mannerProviding Manager with a regular report of activities; complete sales reports on time and as directedEnsuring assigned equipment including Company vehicle is maintained according to the Company policiesDeveloping relationships with new and existing customers and provides information to maximize sales volumeAssume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned; Attend and participate in seminars, professional conferencesMaintaining knowledge in relevant field at all timesWhat we need from you:3 or more years of outside sales experience with an emphasis on prospecting and new customer development in the service industry.Pest management industry experience an assetExcellent written and verbal communicationSuperior relationship building ability and thoroughness with clientsStrong sales skills with knowledge of the complete sales cycleWillingness to achieve the Pesticide Applicators License for assigned regionPresent a professional appearance to project a positive image of company and impress prospective clientsWorks very well independentlyWhat we offer:Competitive compensation structure (base salary + commission)Strong Health and Dental benefits401k matchingCompany vehicleStrong family-oriented cultureContinuous professional development opportunitiesIf you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd like to meet you.Abell Pest Control does not use artificial intelligence or automated decision-making tools in the screening, assessment, or selection of job applicants.
