Business Development RepresentativeWe have an opportunity for a Business Development Representative, located in Raleigh, North Carolina to join our AMS Business Development team, reporting to the Manager of Business Development Representatives - East. In this pivotal role, you will develop quality lead pipelines of net new and existing business opportunities through a hybrid of inbound and outbound prospecting and qualified meetings. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing and wider business units, you will develop your knowledge of Infoblox's network and security solutions and join an organization on the peak of rapid growth.

At Infoblox, you can thrive in a work environment that emphasizes career growth, excellence, innovation, and collaboration.Be a Contributor — What you'll do:Initiate contact with potential leads using targeted outreach strategies and leverage BANT criteria to evaluate prospect suitabilityEngage in proactive outreach activities to build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, aiming to surpass daily activity and opportunity conversion targetsDevelop an in-depth knowledge of Infoblox technology to effectively communicate value propositions and act as a knowledgeable point of contact for prospects and channelRecord and manage prospect interactions and progress within Salesforce, ensuring all data is current and actionableSet up appointments with potential clients that align with both the prospect's interest and the Sales team's capacityCollaborate with the Sales team to tailor outreach efforts, align on target markets, and coordinate on the strategic approach to new business acquisitionPrepare detailed briefs encompassing budget considerations, key decision-makers, and project scope to ensure a smooth transition of opportunities to the Sales teamOversee and sustain outbound efforts across multiple states within the designated region, adapting tactics to strategic business and regional considerationsConduct consistent follow-ups and debriefs with territory managers and Sales executives to refine tactics and maintain alignment post-client interactionsUse AI daily to improve prospecting efficiency, personalize outreach, and focus on the highest-priority accountsBe Prepared — What You Bring:0-2 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales role; software sales experience highly preferredDemonstrated success independently turning sales and marketing strategies into qualified leadsExcellent working knowledge and experience with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and 6sense to drive real business outcomesAbility to work fluently with AI to create and refine prompts, as well as to analyze and evaluate resultsMotivation and a detail–orientated approach to your work to ensure every follow-up is consistently executed at the highest standardPassion for sales and building relationships that put the customer or prospect firstA Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Political Science, International Relations) is requiredBe Successful — Your PathFirst 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, and map the systems and stakeholders that rely on your work.Six Months: Understand the trends by employee size/vertical/solution, craft your own prospecting programs and messaging, present your quarterly business plans & results to the region you support, and meet or exceed your monthly/quarterly targets.One Year: Master Infoblox product knowledge, proficient in CRM management and reporting, an expert in the current tech stack, demonstrate continuous success working cross-functionally with stakeholders, and establish a strong foundation to begin career development conversations.Belong— Your CommunityOur culture thrives on inclusion, rewarding the bold ideas, curiosity, and creativity that move us forward.
