Business Development Representative - Payments & Merchant Services
Location: 100% Remote | Field-Based – Candidates preferred in: Florida, New York, West Coast, Midwest (Chicago), or Dallas
Compensation: $55,000/year + Uncapped Residual Commissions (OTE $75,000–$90,000+ in Year 1 )
About the Role:
A fast-growing merchant services provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative - Payments & Merchant Services to drive B2B sales and manage client relationships across the U.S. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals looking to grow their income and portfolio with a highly flexible and remote-first sales role.

What You’ll Do:
- Own and manage your full sales pipeline—from prospecting to closing
- Act as the primary point of contact for merchants and partners
- Submit new merchant deals weekly and monthly
- Present company products and services; run the full sales cycle
- Collaborate with internal onboarding teams to ensure merchant success
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and payment solutions
- Accurately log opportunities, notes, and statuses in CRM
- Proactively seek out ways to improve internal processes and client success
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Who You Are:

Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in Merchant Services, Payments, ISOs, or similar industry (REQUIRED)
- Strong knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) software, systems, and terminals
- Familiarity with CRMs, communication platforms, and e-commerce tools
- Experience working with both low-risk and high-risk merchants
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
