Business Development RepresentativeThe role of the Business Development Representative is to drive new business growth within an assigned territory while owning the full sales lifecycle—from initial outreach through close—and building long-term customer relationships based on trust and results.Business Development Representatives work cross-functionally with IT, Software, and Print Specialists to identify opportunities, design the right solutions, and support outcomes aligned with customer goals. Success requires the ability to assess business needs and translate them into effective solutions, along with adaptability and consistent execution from prospecting through close.Responsibilities:Prospect and acquire new accounts through outbound outreach, referrals, and leadsManage opportunities from initial conversation through closeMaintain accurate pipeline tracking and sales forecastsPartner with internal specialists to assess needs and recommend technology solutionsBuild and maintain long-term customer relationships within your territoryMeet or exceed individual and team sales goalsResearch accounts and industries to identify growth opportunitiesParticipate in sales meetings, training, and company eventsProvide clear, measurable updates to leadership on activitySupport cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutionsExperience & Required Skills:Ability to engage prospects and build professional relationshipsStrategic prospectingStrong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills helpfulProduct knowledge is a plusBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office productsEducation & Certification:High School Diploma or GEDPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile.Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.Benefits:Parental and caregiver leaveTuition reimbursement.Paid holidays.401(k) plan with employer match.Comprehensive benefit coverage optionsCompany-paid life and disability insuranceThis job description outlines the primary duties and responsibilities of the role but is not intended to be an exhaustive list.
