ENG Bauen is supporting an established international engineering and technology manufacturer serving the global energy and industrial markets with a key commercial appointment in Houston, Texas.

We are looking for an experienced commercial business development professional to develop strategic customer relationships and expand the organisation's position across key US markets.

This is a technically led commercial role, working directly with major customers to understand operational challenges and introduce high-value engineered products and technology-led solutions.

We are interested in people who have:

• Developed business across energy, industrial or engineered-equipment markets.
• Built relationships with major operators and end users.
• Sold complex engineered products, equipment or technology.
• Developed new territories and strategic accounts.
• Managed opportunities through technical engagement, negotiation and commercial award.
• Worked effectively with engineering, operations and procurement stakeholders.
• A strong understanding of production and operational environments.

This could equally suit someone who started their career technically before progressing into commercial or customer-facing leadership.
